Nonviolent Communication in the workplace
Course description
This course aims to develop communication skills focused on promoting more empathetic, collaborative, and respectful relationships in the organizational context.
In addition, we will explore topics such as organizational communication, empathetic listening, conflict management, verbal and nonverbal communication, and prevention of psychosocial risks in the workplace.
Objectives
- Understand the fundamentals of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), its relationship with organizational communication, and its impacts on work relationships.
- Develop awareness of communication patterns, feelings, needs, and forms of expression, recognizing differences between reactive and conscious communication, as well as the influence of verbal and nonverbal communication.
- Apply the principles and the four components of NVC through empathetic listening strategies and collaborative dialogue, contributing to more respectful and healthy work environments.
