Basic Japanese Course 1
Course description
In this course we will study through Romaji (Roman alphabet used in Japanese transcription) the grammar of the Japanese language together with the formalities brought by Japanese culture.
Topics related to phonetics, sentence structure, verbs in the “MASU” form, the verb “Suru”, sentence-ending forms and honorific suffixes will be covered.
Objectives
- Understand the ways of structuring a sentence in Japanese.
- Learn verbs in past and non-past, affirmative and negative forms.
- Learn sentence-ending forms and honorific suffixes.
