Education for gender relations
Course description
The course shows the fundamental role that the school has in the construction of an education that favors gender and race equity.
Furthermore, it offers strategies to integrate this approach into subjects, using anti-sexist education as a thematic axis to be developed in a transversal way.
Objectives
- Understand the role of the school in the deconstruction of gender stereotypes.
- Develop strategies to approach an anti-sexist education in a transversal way in the subjects.
- Understand how the teaching-learning process in school and society has contributed to a sexist and racist education.
- Identify the mechanisms that contribute to racist and sexist education and what we can do to change them.
