Literature in Childhood
Course description
In this course, we will address paths and dialogues about children's literature, starting from a brief historical overview in the world and in Brazil. We will discuss questions such as: what to read? How to read? Why read? How to make choices? By age group or by type of reader? We will also see that reading makes us think critically and seek meaning. Therefore, reading for pleasure is a fundamental part of bringing together all the benefits that the practice of reading can provide.
