Course description
This course offers an introductory overview of the ethical principles that guide decisions affecting biomedical studies, as well as the concepts and social values that shape biomedical ethics.
Ethical principles related to experimentation with living beings, including humans and non-human beings, are also addressed.
The course also includes reflections on ethical values applied to contemporary socio-environmental debates.
Objectives

- Understand common positions regarding dilemmas involving experimental interaction with living beings.
- Understand the evolution of human thought that led to current postulates and contemporary trends in bioethics.
